Sports Specific Personal Training Sport specific fitness training focuses on increasing range of motion and flexibility through stretching, core strength, and resistance training exercises that are sport specific, helping athletes reach their goals. This is a great workout for the athlete with the added component of resistance training to increase strength while increasing flexibility.
Injury Prevention & Injury Rehabilitation Few studies have examined the effects of resistance band exercises on strengthening a specific muscle group. As a result, no definite guidelines exist as to the number of sets, repetitions, and amount of resistance should be used. However, Shawn uses resistance tubing routinely to prevent and rehabilitate injuries by strengthening smaller, neglected muscle groups.
